Tuesday, 19.6.2007: Cambodia Development Cooperation Forum Meeting on 19/20 June 2007

The Mirror, Vol. 11, No. 513

Instead of the translation of one article from a Khmer newspapers on the important event of the present donors meeting, we share today a collection of references – in random order – to some sources on the Internet, related to this event.

It is interesting that not only the big international agencies report about the context of this meeting, but also the press in such far away countries as Mauritius and Turkey.

We include also a reference to the statement of the NGO Forum on Cambodia. This organization, in which a number of NGOs in Cambodia cooperate, has always used the opportunity of the normally annual international consultative group meetings to elaborate and to present an NGO perspective on the development of Cambodia in a substantive document.
